What You Will Do
- Develop new enhancements / provide L2 application support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues in SAP
- Design, develop, and enhance SAP Objects using ABAP
- Hands-on development in SAP ABAP development.
- Strong expertise in Core ABAP, enhancements, and modern SAP technologies, including ABAP on HANA, OData services, and exposure to SAP Fiori.
- Will be working on complex developments, collaborating closely with functional teams, and delivering high-quality technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, support production systems, and continuously improve application reliability.
Qualifications You must have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of strong experience in SAP ABAP development
- Expertise in Core ABAP
- Hands-on experience with enhancements, exits, and BADIs
- Exposure to OData services
- Experience in ABAP on HANA
- Working knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5
- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
- Good communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and support SAP applications using Core ABAP
- Implement enhancements using:
- User Exits
- Customer Exits
- BADIs
- BTE
- Perform WRICEF developments (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
- Work on ABAP on HANA developments, including performance optimization
- Develop and support OData services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications
- Collaborate with functional consultants to analyze requirements and provide technical solutions
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues independently
- Ensure compliance with SAP coding standards and best practices
- Support testing, deployment, and production issues
- Mentor junior ABAP developers as needed
- Having exposure to key functional modules like SD, MM, PP
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with CDS Views and AMDP
- Exposure to S/4HANA projects
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Experience in integration scenarios
- Experience with Backend for Frontend (BFF) or API Gateway patterns to manage API calls and handle back-end communication
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
