Requirements
- Own and drive the overall programme-level architecture across all technical workstreams.
- Define and maintain the end-to-end solution architecture for the programme.
- Ensure alignment between:
SFCC Headless workstream
- MuleSoft integration/API workstream
Mobile workstream
- Core systems workstream
QA/UAT/Go-live and warranty activities
- Provide architecture governance across Discovery, Design, Build, UAT, Go-Live and Warranty phases.
- Review solution designs from individual Solution Architects and Technical Architects.
- Identify cross-workstream dependencies, risks, gaps, and technical conflicts.
- Ensure architecture decisions are documented and communicated clearly.
- Validate that SFCC headless approach is aligned with business, technical, and integration requirements.
- Guide teams on use of PWA Kit / Storefront Next or other headless storefront considerations.
- Oversee integration approach between SFCC, MuleSoft, mobile apps, and core systems.
- Support estimation, planning, staffing validation, and delivery roadmap discussions.
- Work closely with Programme Manager, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Technical Architects, Developers, QA, and client stakeholders.
- Provide technical escalation support and decision-making during delivery.
- Ensure solution scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and reusability.
- Support go-live readiness, cutover planning, and warranty stabilization from an architecture perspective.
- 12+ years of overall IT/digital commerce experience.
- Strong architecture experience in enterprise commerce programmes.
- Hands-on or strong solution architecture experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud / SFCC.
- Experience with SFCC Headless implementations.
- Knowledge of PWA Kit and/or Storefront Next.
- Strong understanding of MuleSoft integration architecture.
- Experience working with mobile commerce applications and integrations.
- Good understanding of enterprise/core system integrations.
- Ability to manage and govern architecture across multiple parallel workstreams.
- Experience working on large transformation programmes with multiple vendors, teams, and stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of API-led architecture, integration patterns, data flows, and system dependencies.
- Ability to review and challenge designs from Solution Architects and Technical Architects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with distributed teams across India, Philippines, APAC, EMEA, and other regions.
