Scope:
- The Professional services team within Blue Yonder operates globally and is growing rapidly.
- Blue Yonder Enterprise Technical Architect (Planning) will be responsible for services delivery of product implementation and related integration.
- This role will provide the associate to be hands-on with the Professional Services team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform, and the solution teams.
- Core responsibilities include Strategy, Architecting, Design/Development (along with counterparts, customer, and Architects) and leading the technical team on projects and delivery initiatives catered around Supply Chain Planning solution and capabilities implementation.

What you’ll do:
- Lead and mentor team of technical associates on Solution implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects either at the customer site or offshore.
- Estimate the workload of implementation activities that are within the scope of their skills; assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration complexity, architecture.
- Able to work and own initiatives for the technical planning team (Professional Services) and demonstrate good skills in leading the strategy and contribute towards complex customer assessment and sales cycle.
- Collaborate with Global Team/Partners and Customers or internal stakeholders.
- Conduct technical analysis sessions with customers and/or the project team to understand the functional and technical needs of the customer and develop technical solutions to meet those needs. Configure and implement Blue Yonder software solutions according to the client's specific requirements.
- Documentation Support - Technical aspects of Blue Yonder Solutions, including technical specifications, configuration details, and user manuals.
- Implementation and steady state support, contribute on internal development projects and activities.
- Contribute to the growth of the technical professional services practice by developing and maintaining practice aids, databases, best-practice collateral, assets, and accelerators.
- Continuously upskill Blue Yonder’ s product suite and technology innovation to convey relationships and touchpoints to the customer. Incumbent should be up to date on the Product Roadmap and strategy and need to have a synergy with cross functional team(s).
- Ready to travel to customer sites based on business needs.
- Identify areas of improvement and scope of automation on routine tasks or activities
- Handle activities with a diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Accelerate Time-to-Value for customer by iteratively delivering in short cycles.
- Recognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities within existing customer projects.
- Ensures compliance with the internal and external company policies and procedures.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree and 15+ years of experience in Software industry; ideally a candidate who has started as a Consultant and has worked his/her way to leading the technical team on 5+ complete implementation cycles.
- Demonstrable understanding of software engineering fundamentals and design principles
- Experience working with large customers in challenging environments and having design/implemented enterprise application solutions and integration architectures.
- Demonstrable experience leading, building, deploying and maintenance of enterprise solutions (cloud or on-premises)
- Excellent communication, Inter-personal, Analytical and Problem-solving skills
- Strong programming experience and problem-solving skills
- Supply Chain Planning Industry Experience
- Expertise on performance tuning techniques and ability to assist other team members with benchmarking and sizing exercises.
- Possess technical expertise on emerging technologies and integration with different database and scripting languages like Python, SQL/PLSQL, Linux, etc
- Good understanding of Web Technologies and API fundamentals
- Strong understanding on Cloud and Architectural design (Azure or equivalent, Microservices Architecture, Multi-Tenant)
- Demonstrable experience with Blue Yonder SCPO Platform.
- Hands-on development skills; should not have moved away from development activities.
- Passionate about working with new and emerging technologies, products and demonstrates the ability to learn quickly, and have good interpersonal & communication
