Principal Solutions Architect, Enterprise Integrations is an industry thought leader that will help to create, Publish and communicate Enterprise Integration Framework, guidelines and standards. The integration Architect will set the overall vision, strategy for both Application to Application (A2A), Application to Cloud(A2C) and Business and Business (B2B) integration including directing future initiatives that build components of architecture ensuring convergence towards the defined future state.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating thought leadership during client engagements emanating in the form of discussion papers and white papers in the field of BTP Integration to create best in class practices and tools for all customer/vendor engagement.
  • Extensive experience in BTP Integration suite with Integration Advisor, APIM, TPM , Open connectors, Cloud Integration and advanced Event Mesh.
  • Develop and review high level solution design and Integration approach documents.
  • Preparing Integration strategy documents and roadmap.
  • Creating prototypes and giving the demonstration to the internal team.
  • Developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture to create an overview of the current and future state of the organization's IT systems.
  • Define long-term enterprise architecture blueprint, and strategy to support business growth and help to plan for readiness of systems across various business functions.
  • Evaluate internal functions, business development strategies and IT processes and suggest improvements.
  • Architect end-to-end integration solutions that connects SAP BTP Integration suite with various on -premise applications, legacy applications, e-commerce portal, cloud application (IBP, SuccessFactors, MBC), B2B EDI applications and SAP applications and 3rd party Banks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including service stream lead, project managers, architects, business analysts, and developers to understand integration requirements, gather feedback, and deliver integrated solutions that meet business needs.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the integration architecture to adapt to changing business needs, new applications or services, and evolving IT landscapes.
  • Extensive experience with SOA architecture, SOA services, ESB and Event driven process development.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and refine technical requirements for system integrations.
  • Define EA standards, EA governance frameworks, and assist with system integration standards.
  • Provide BTP expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology, data architecture and modeling, system architecture including integration best practices.
  • Define the end-to-end integration architecture covering process, application, data, and technology. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors, ensuring effective vendor management for integration technologies and solution selection.
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to optimize future integration projects and ensure expertise is transferred to the broader team.
  • Determining & delivering operational strategies by conducting needs assessments, performance reviews, capacity planning, and cost/benefit analyses, in line with future state target operating model
  • Coordinate with the Systems Integration vendor partner teams for delivery of the application development and integration work items outlined in the scope for a given deployment release.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with 10+ years of experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
  • Master's degree with 8+ years relevant work experience preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) as a Solutions Architect, with a focus on enterprise integration.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing integration solutions using middleware platforms, ESBs, APIs, messaging protocols, and other integration technologies.
  • Ability to articulate all the integration patterns and enabling platforms
  • Strong experience and expertise with SAP BTP (CPI, API Management, Trading Partner Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors ) ,SAP PO/PI and IPaaS(Dell Boomi, MuleSoft)
  • Preferable to have background with other IPaaS Integration Platforms and other Cloud platforms (SuccessFactors, Ariba,IBP)
  • Expert in integration patterns: web services, REST API and synchronous/asynchronous integration mechanisms

  • Hands-on experience with leading integration platforms such as SAP Integration tools with SAP BTP integration Suite.
  • Solid understanding of B2B EDI applications , A2A application integrations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to architect scalable and resilient integration solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
