SS&C Eze is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Eze OMS team based out of our Boston headquarters. Eze’s award-winning Investment Suite features a set of integrated applications that provide best-in-class asset management functionality to streamline the investment lifecycle. Our applications can be combined together for a seamless front-to-back workflow, used standalone, or integrated with other third-party systems. As a Software Engineer on the OMS, you will work on a team consisting of a Product Manager, QA, Scrum Master, and other Software Engineers. The ideal candidate has a passion for software development, a commitment to quality, is eager to learn and innovate, has excellent analytical skills, and can communicate effectively with teammates.

What You Will Get To Do: 

• Provide technical leadership and mentor/coach other engineers.
• Develop high-quality code on schedule, based on a technical design.
• Design and implement underlying data and domain models for applications and services to be scalable and maintainable
• Identify improvements and participate in innovating our tools and services
• Provide operational support for critical production issues
• Master the domain knowledge and be the expert in the areas the team owns

What You Will Bring: 

• 8+ Years of experience in programming and software development
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft .NET coding languages (C# experience preferred)
• Deep understanding of OOD/P and its application
• Experience with API Architecting and Development
• Experience with Public or Private Cloud Development
• Proficient in SQL (SQL Server experience preferred)
• Experience providing technical leadership, design advice, and mentoring other engineers
• Fluency in various Design Patterns. How to use them, why to use them, and when to use them.
• Fluency in algorithmic thinking and problem-solving
• Active interest in new technology and emerging engineering practices

Salary/wage rate is determined by various factors, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. 

The expected [base salary/hourly wage] for the position in [state] is between 160,000.00 USD to 170,000.00 USD.

In addition to their salary, successful candidates may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus and stock options.
