We’re looking for a Principal Software Engineer, Full Stack with a passion for solving complex problems, owning architecture decisions, and building resilient, scalable systems. You’ll play a critical role in leading initiatives, mentoring engineers, and crafting high-performance software that powers modern financial operations.
What You’ll Do:
🛠️ Architect, design, and develop scalable web applications and APIs that handle large-scale financial data integrations.
👨💻 Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and fellow engineers to shape and deliver impactful features.
📊 Optimize systems for speed, scalability, and reliability across the stack.
🔧 Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern full stack frameworks and tools.
🔍 Lead technical exploration, evaluate new tools and frameworks, and champion engineering best practices.
🛡️ Embed security and compliance standards into all layers of the application stack.
👥 Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth.
✅ 8+ years of hands-on experience in full stack software development.
✅ Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and RESTful APIs.
✅ Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, etc.).
✅ Solid understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.
✅ Experience implementing security best practices and managing sensitive data.
✅ Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
⭐ FinTech or financial data experience (e.g., integrations with Plaid, QuickBooks, etc.)
⭐ Familiarity with serverless architectures, event-driven design, and microservices
⭐ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform)
⭐ Prior leadership in technical planning or team/project mentorship
