Leidos is currently looking to add a Software Engineer (SWE-3) to a growing task. Tasks will include new design and prototyping within a fast-paced Agile team structure.
Position is eligible for a sign on bonus of $25,000!
Job Responsibilities:

Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.

Debug existing software and correct defects.
-
Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.
-
Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
-
Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
-
Write or review software and system documentation.
-
Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
Basic Qualifications:
-
20 years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.

Clearance Required: Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph

Must have Java development experience
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Proficiency with Git, Linux, Jira, Confluence, Eclipse.

Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
-
Experience with React or similar libraries (Vue, Angular).

Strong problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to lead technical teams.
-
Experience in complex database or data repository interfaces/queries.
-
Proven ability to ensure quality control of developed and modified software.
