Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a systems thinker and a bridge between identifying the functional product requirements and the corresponding ways to build and competitively position the software modules, applications, sub systems, and platforms. Each day, you will provide technical product leadership and hands‑on guidance across the full lifecycle of our cybersecurity and PKIaaS offerings by translating the product roadmap into actionable steps to develop platform component and/or individual application in collaboration with software engineers, designers, developers, and architect. You will also showcase your expertise by demonstrating a strong understanding and technical expertise in all aspects of software engineering
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Automation Digital in Bangalore.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Owned product vision, roadmap, and backlog for PKIaaS, device identity, and certificate lifecycle services, aligning business needs with technical feasibility
Led architecture and design decisions across PKI, certificate enrollment (SCEP/EST/APIs), TPM integration, Factory Proxy, and secure provisioning workflows
Translated customer, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements into technical specs while mentoring engineers and driving secure SDLC practices
Collaborated cross-functionally to deliver scalable, compliant PKI services, while handling escalations and driving adoption of new security technologies
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field with 10+ years in software engineering, cybersecurity, or platform engineering
Strong expertise in PKI and cybersecurity, including X.509, TLS, TCP/IP, and certificate lifecycle management
Hands-on experience with device identity (IDevID/LDevID), certificate-based authentication, and secure IoT/edge onboarding
Proficient in SCEP, EST, REST-based certificate APIs, OpenSSL, and public key cryptography over HTTP/HTTPS
Deep knowledge of TPM, secure key storage, secure boot, and hardware-backed cryptographic identity
Experience architecting and scaling cloud/platform services (Kubernetes, containers, secure APIs) with ownership of roadmap and execution
Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to influence across engineering, security, and business teams; familiarity with IEEE 802.1AR and automated provisioning is a plus
