About You (Skills & Experience Required)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience developing backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.
Knowledgeable about Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and working with a lot of data.
Experience writing unit tests and integration tests.
Hands-on experience with version control systems (preferably Git).
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
It would be great if you also have:
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/TeamCity/ AWS Deploy
Exposure to cloud platforms or containerization technologies.
Some experience with Python and TensorFlow or Karas.
Experience using distributed frameworks such as Apache Spark or Storm, JMS or Kafka in distributed environments

You will work closely with your agile team for creating high-quality, innovative, and intuitive solutions to challenging and complex business problems. To be successful in this role, you will need strong technical and analytical skills to be applied to overcome challenges that arise when working across multiple technologies.
Some highlights of this role:
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.
Develop and maintain unit and unit integration tests that are part of an automated Continuous Integration pipeline.
Work closely with other teams (e.g., QA, Product) to release high-quality software.
Participate in group improvement activities and initiatives to improve process and product quality in pursuit of excellence.
Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development, testing, and production.
About the Team
You will be part of the Intellectual Property (IP) Technology team, which is responsible for building and maintaining solutions that support trademark search services and CompuMark products. The team plays a critical role in helping customers protect and manage their intellectual property globally.
Hours of Work
This is permanent position with Clarivate. You will be working in IST time zone, 9 hours per day including 1 hour lunch break. You will be working closely with a team in the CET time zone and occasionally with people in US time zones.
