The Expertise You Have
Bachelor’s or post-primary degree in a Technology-related subject area.
10 or more years’ development experience with 5+ in front-end development.
Experience in leading teams in technology and full stack solutions.
Passion for designing and delivering the best end user journeys.
Expertise in delivering front-end solutions and mid-tier services.
The Skills You Bring
Expert skills with Java, Spring, RESTful services, JUnit.
Extensive experience with web fundamentals like HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
Extensive experience building responsive web applications.
Extensive experience of front-end frameworks such as Angular or React, or any other equivalent UI framework, e.g., NodeJS and NPM.
Experience with release management, source control and CI/CD technologies, e.g. Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.
Ability to apply previous experience of Automation Tools/Test Frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Mocha, Selenium, Protractor, etc.).
Experience with any of the following a plus: Artifactory, Monorepo, Apache Camel, AWS / ECS / EKS, code analysis tools, e.g. Mend, Githas Security Sonar, JaCoCo, etc.

Providing technical and team leadership in the UI, application, and service tiers.
Leading, guiding and mentoring Senior Developers as well as more junior team members.
Translating business requirements with the Product Owner to deliver optimised customer journeys using the latest industry and company front-end standards.
Define and ensure compliance to standards and best practice for UI, application and service tier development including design patterns, release management, & source code control.
Taking ownership for ensuring key tasks in the software life cycle are completed.
Collaborating with the Product Owner to deliver on quarterly business objectives as well as developing a multi-year roadmap for the platform.
Giving your expertise as a UI SME to further Product Area and WI Technology capabilities.
