Role: QA Architect / Test Architecture Lead (API + UI) for multi-tenant SaaS Application.
- Own QA technical strategy and drive a scalable automation framework for API + UI across teams.
- Lead API test architecture for Java microservices: contract testing, integration testing, data isolation, authentication/authroziation, tenant lifecycle.
- Ensure tenant boundary validation (no cross-tenant data leakage) and coverage for configuration/feature flags, quotas, and migrations.
- Define and enforce continuous testing best practices in CI/CD: test pyramid, tagging, parallel runs, quality gates, reporting.
- Review and refactor existing central E2E framework to improve maintainability, speed, and flake reduction.
- Standardize test data management and environment strategies suitable for DB-per-tenant systems.
- Own UI automation direction using Playwright for Angular applications (cross-browser, critical user journeys, visual checks as needed).
- Establish Agile quality practices: definition of done, shift-left, testability requirements, and quality metrics.
- Develop emerging testing approaches (AI-assisted testing, visual AI, test selection optimization)
- Quality Metrics: "Define and track metrics, test effectiveness KPIs, and quality debt"
- Provide templates, reference implementations, and onboarding so individual microservice teams can adopt the framework consistently.
- Mentor SDETs/QAs and collaborate with Engineering/SRE/Platform on observability-driven testing and triage.
- Requirements: 10+ years QA/SDET, proven test framework ownership at scale, strong Java/API automation background, microservices CI/CD expertise.
- Nice-to-have: Kubernetes/cloud exposure, contract testing tooling experience, performance engineering, accessibility/UX testing.
