Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a disciplined, results driven Project Manager to join our growing team supporting a portfolio of programs focused on all-domain information management. This team is part of the Research and Advanced Development division working on exciting new next generation technologies. This individual will have the ability to shape multiple efforts. Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross‑functional project teams to deliver initiatives on time, within scope, and on budget
- Translate high‑level business objectives into detailed project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies
- Conduct regular stand‑ups, status reviews, and stakeholder briefings; provide transparent reporting using dashboards and metrics
- Apply Agile methodologies as appropriate, ensuring alignment with company processes
- Identify and resolve impediments, escalating issues when necessary to maintain project momentum
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and procurement of external vendors
- Foster a collaborative culture, leveraging leadership and mentorship
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ experience, OR Master’s degree with 3 years' experience
At least 2 years of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
Demonstrated track record/experience in project management including cost, schedule, and technical performance management
Experience working with and manipulating detail-oriented data
Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Top Secret Clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company

Program Management experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry
Experience leading 10+ member cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with Earned Value Management

Demonstrable capability of working with minimal direction, independently determining, and developing technical objectives of assignments, and presenting work upon completion at high quality

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
