We’re looking for a Principal Product Marketer who can operate at the intersection of product, technology, customers, and commercial strategy for our Identity portfolio.

This is not a traditional product marketing role centered primarily on launches and content creation. You will serve as a senior strategic business partner to LiveRamp’s Product and Commercial leaders, helping shape the strategy, commercialization, and growth of our Identity portfolio.

You will develop and evangelize a strong point of view on Identity, not only as a set of products, but as a foundational capability across LiveRamp’s platform and the broader advertising and marketing ecosystem. You’ll connect market demand, product strategy, customer needs, commercial readiness, adoption, and growth.

You will:
  • Own the go-to-market strategy for the Identity portfolio, developing a clear view of the market opportunity, target customers, differentiated value, commercial model, and path to growth.

  • Serve as a senior strategic partner to Product leaders and executives, bringing customer insight, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and commercial performance into product strategy and roadmap decisions. Develop an independent point of view, challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and help shape the future direction of the portfolio.

  • Develop deep technical and market expertise in LiveRamp’s Identity and data collaboration capabilities and the broader adtech and martech ecosystem. Translate complex technology into customer value while being able to go deep on how Identity solutions work, where they fit, and what is required to adopt them.

  • Define, clarify, and evangelize the role and value of Identity across LiveRamp, our customers, partners, and the broader ecosystem, building understanding of how Identity powers LiveRamp’s platform and solutions.

  • Engage directly with customers, prospects, partners, and industry leaders as an Identity product and market expert, supporting discovery, strategic conversations, early adoption, and critical commercial opportunities.

  • Own commercialization across the Identity product lifecycle, from market demand and product-market fit through commercial readiness, launch, adoption, scale, and optimization.

  • Partner with Industry Teams, Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, and other Commercial teams to understand pipeline, bookings, adoption, usage, customer feedback, and barriers to growth—and turn those signals into action.

  • Establish commercialization goals and measures of success across market and commercial readiness, pipeline and revenue, adoption and usage, customer value, and market demand. Diagnose underperformance and bring the right teams together to improve results.

  • Shape Identity positioning, messaging, packaging, competitive strategy, sales plays, enablement, and proof points based on a deep understanding of the product, customer, market, and commercial opportunity. Treat content and enablement as a means to commercial outcomes, not the end result.

  • Partner on early adopter and launch programs to define target customers, success criteria, feedback loops, commercial pathways, and the evidence required to scale.

  • Influence senior leaders across Product, Commercial, Marketing, and other functions, creating alignment and momentum without direct authority.

  • Serve as a visible Identity thought leader within LiveRamp and externally, representing LiveRamp’s point of view with customers, partners, industry leaders, and the broader market.

Your team will:

You will join a Product Marketing team evolving how we partner with Product and Commercial teams to bring LiveRamp’s products and solutions to market.

Our mandate extends beyond launching products. We work across the commercialization lifecycle - from understanding market demand and shaping product strategy to preparing Commercial teams, accelerating adoption, measuring customer and business outcomes, and adapting as we learn.

Principal Product Marketers operate as business partners and portfolio leaders. They develop deep product and market expertise, build strong relationships with Product and Commercial leaders, spend meaningful time with customers, and use data and market insight to drive decisions.

Success means more than producing great product marketing. It means helping LiveRamp build the right solutions, bring them to the right customers, and turn product innovation into measurable customer and business value.

About you:
  • You have significant experience at the intersection of technology, products, customers, and commercial strategy through product marketing, product management, solutions consulting/sales engineering, product strategy, or a related discipline.

  • You bring significant adtech, martech, or data-driven marketing experience, with deep knowledge of Identity and its role across the advertising and marketing ecosystem.

  • You are technically curious and capable, with the ability to understand how products work and establish credibility with Product, technical teams, customers, and partners.

  • You move comfortably between technical product conversations and executive business conversations and have experience engaging directly with enterprise customers.

  • You understand how technology becomes a business - from market demand and product-market fit to commercialization, adoption, usage, and growth.

  • You use market intelligence, customer insight, competitive information, and commercial performance data to develop a point of view, challenge assumptions, and influence decisions.

  • You create structure in ambiguous environments, make tradeoffs, establish priorities, and move complex cross-functional initiatives forward.

  • You have the executive presence and strategic judgment to operate as a trusted partner to senior Product and Commercial leaders and build alignment without direct authority.

  • You are comfortable being a visible subject matter expert and evangelist, helping audiences understand both how Identity works and why it matters.

  • You combine strategic thinking with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and take ownership when something within your portfolio isn't working.

Preferred Skills:
  • Deep expertise in identity resolution, identity infrastructure, data collaboration, or related adtech/martech capabilities.

  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role such as solutions consulting, sales engineering, product management, technical product marketing, or solution architecture.

  • Experience taking complex technology from early product stages through general availability, adoption, and scale.

  • Experience partnering with enterprise sales organizations on strategic opportunities and commercialization programs.

  • Experience using pipeline, revenue, adoption, usage, and customer data to evaluate product or go-to-market performance.

  • Experience developing executive-level narratives and presenting to senior internal and external audiences.

  • Experience operating across global, highly cross-functional organizations.

The approximate annual base compensation range is $159,000 to $234,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
