ABOUT THE ROLE: Principal Product Manager

As a Principal Product Manager at Aviatrix, you will serve as a recognized subject matter expert and thought leader, owning the strategy and long-term vision for a set of interrelated features and solution areas within our multi-cloud networking platform. You will drive significant initiatives that shape product value and market differentiation, influencing the product roadmap at the leadership level.

Working closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customers, you will identify emerging opportunities, make high-stakes prioritization decisions, and lead cross-functional collaboration that defines Aviatrix's competitive position across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and beyond.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage regularly with enterprise customers, many of whom are based in the U.S., participating in product discussions, roadmap reviews, and strategic sessions; flexibility to schedule and attend meetings across time zones is expected.
  • Establish prioritization frameworks for interdependent features that are adopted across product teams, and communicate rationale clearly to executive stakeholders.
  • Make critical, high-stakes decisions on feature scope and strategic direction, balancing cross-functional input, market insights, and risk assessment to drive outcomes that impact the broader Product Management function.
  • Lead execution across multiple interrelated features, overseeing project roadmaps, assigning responsibilities across teams, and establishing standards for quality delivery.
  • Anticipate execution risks and adapt plans proactively based on resource or market changes, ensuring smooth cross-functional collaboration.
  • Maintain deep customer focus by synthesizing feedback and real-world enterprise challenges into strategic product decisions, ensuring Aviatrix solutions address critical pain points at scale.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to keep Aviatrix at the forefront of enterprise cloud networking and security.
  • Drive strategic-level communication across functions, providing detailed roadmap updates, vision presentations, and reports to leadership and executive teams.
  • Partner with ecosystem partners and internal teams to validate strategy and deliver measurable, impactful results.
  • Evangelize Aviatrix's solutions as an internal and external subject matter expert through thought leadership, technical white papers, webinars, and speaking engagements.
  • Mentor and develop junior product managers on execution, collaboration, and strategic thinking best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
