As a member of the Data Solutions Leadership Team, the Principal AI Product Manager is responsible for the strategy, discovery, and delivery of a portfolio of AI-powered products, analytics solutions, and machine learning capabilities that are embedded in workflows and drive measurable patient and business outcomes.
This role is a senior individual contributor position with portfolio-level accountability, responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and driving execution of high-value AI and analytics opportunities that improve decision-making, automation, operational efficiency, and patient experience. Success in this role requires solid product judgment, deep understanding of modern AI, machine learning, and analytics products, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders in a highly matrixed, regulated US healthcare environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Own the product portfolio strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for AI-powered products, analytics solutions, and machine learning capabilities
- Lead continuous product discovery to identify high-value problems, validate assumptions, and define outcome-oriented opportunities
- Identify, prioritize, and translate opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, and generative AI into product capabilities that improve patient and business outcomes
- Partner with Data Scientists, Engineers, and Data Product teams to deliver scalable, production-grade AI and analytics capabilities that create measurable patient and business value
- Define product vision, problems to solve, success metrics, business cases, and outcome-based Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
- Drive portfolio-level prioritization balancing customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, regulatory requirements, and organizational capacity
- Ensure responsible AI practices, including governance, privacy, security, and compliance, are embedded in product development
- Define evaluation criteria, guardrails, and human oversight for AI capabilities, and monitor production performance to drive continuous improvement
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and competitive offerings to inform product strategy and investment decisions
- Partner with Go-To-Market, Operations, and customer-facing teams to drive adoption and value realization
- Communicate product strategy, progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Influence senior leaders and stakeholders without direct authority to align on priorities and outcomes
- Represent AI and analytics product strategy in leadership forums, customer engagements, and strategic planning activities
- Serve as a mentor and thought leader within the product organization, driving modern product management practices

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven significant experience in product management, including ownership of complex products, platforms, or portfolios
- Proven solid experience leading AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics products from concept through production
- Proven experience with Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), predictive modeling, or decision intelligence products
- Demonstrated solid understanding of modern product management practices, including continuous discovery, outcome-based roadmaps, experimentation, and OKRs
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across large, matrixed organizations
- Demonstrated solid business acumen, including experience developing investment cases and prioritization frameworks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- Proven experience within the U.S. healthcare industry, including payer, provider, or pharmacy environments
