Who you’ll be working with

Our Product team works at the intersection of business strategy, customer needs, technology, and delivery. We partner closely with our clients and Codal’s Design, Engineering, Data/AI, and Project Management teams to turn complex business problems into successful digital products.

As a Principal Product Manager, you’ll serve as a senior product leader across a selected portfolio of strategic client accounts. You’ll provide product and account oversight, strengthen executive relationships, guide delivery teams, and identify opportunities to continuously expand the value Codal provides to our clients.

What you’ll be doing

Account Leadership & Client Partnership

  • Own product oversight for a selected portfolio of strategic accounts, with accountability for client relationships, engagement health, and long-term value.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and serve as a strategic product advisor.
  • Partner with delivery leadership to proactively manage risks, priorities, and escalations.

Product Strategy & Delivery

  • Lead strategic discovery, workshops, product strategy, and roadmap development.
  • Ensure product decisions remain aligned to business outcomes, customer needs, and delivery feasibility.
  • Provide senior oversight to complex engagements while enabling PMs to own day-to-day execution.

Account Growth & Pre-Sales

  • Drive continued account expansion by identifying new products, phases of work, and opportunities to bring additional Codal capabilities into the relationship.
  • Lead or support pre-sales, solution shaping, proposals, estimates, and executive presentations.
  • Develop forward-looking account roadmaps that connect client priorities with future opportunities.

Product Leadership

  • Mentor Product Managers and Senior Product Managers and help them take greater ownership of their engagements.
  • Partner across Product, Design, Engineering, PMO, Sales, and Operations to strengthen Codal’s product practices and service offerings.

What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)

  • MUST have significant client-facing experience.
  • Eight (8)+ years of relevant Product experience, with at least five (5) years spent in consulting, professional services, or a similar client-facing environment.
  • Experience leading large-scale, complex digital product and transformation engagements.
  • Experience overseeing strategic client accounts and maintaining relationships with senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong product strategy experience across discovery, product vision, prioritization, roadmap development, and outcome measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify account growth opportunities and translate client needs into new engagements.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across Product, Project Management, Design, Engineering, and other disciplines.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or managing Product Managers.
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, delivery challenges, and complex stakeholder environments with maturity and good judgment.
  • Willingness to remain hands-on and step into the details when an engagement or team requires it.

  • Experience with enterprise eCommerce, application modernization, healthcare, financial services, or other complex/regulated industries.
  • Experience expanding strategic accounts across multiple engagements or service offerings.

  • Experience working with global or distributed delivery teams.
  • CSPO, Pragmatic, PMP, or related certifications.
  • Jira/Confluence and Google Workspace experience.

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position

Pay range
$160,000$175,000 USD
