Join Zalando Payments GmbH as a Principal Product Manager to lead innovative, scalable, and compliant payment solutions. You will oversee Gift Card issuing and Payment Transaction Management, supporting Zalando's growth across various segments.
Your role involves developing high-performing solutions, ensuring stability and scalability, and guiding architectural migrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strategic roadmaps and align with senior leadership and stakeholders.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
- Product Roadmap: Lead your team to create and maintain a product roadmap with prioritized features, enhancements, and initiatives. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, align with Engineering Leadership, and define precise product specifications.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Zalando Platform teams to understand their payment infrastructure needs, ensure synchronization, secure buy-in, and successfully execute product initiatives. Work with product managers across departments to align roadmaps for collective success.
- Product Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from inception to execution. This includes problem definition, opportunity sizing, solution identification, technical design and development, regulatory compliance, and alignment with company strategy.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor KPIs of transaction processing services, use data-driven insights to identify improvement areas, prioritize optimizations, and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update and communicate with key stakeholders, including executives and department heads. Present findings, proposals, and business cases to gain support and secure resources for product initiatives.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

Product leader collaborating in a cross-functional team set-up with a minimum of 5 years experience within product management

Experience in transforming customer and partner needs into technology products at scale (from idea generation to solution design and implementation/execution) gained in a highly technical environment

Quantitative thought leader with a strong understanding of product methods and tools as well as statistical/analytical approaches

Strong team player and collaborator who can excite others to contribute to innovate and improve our value proposition and key customer experience

Ability to transform distributed information into written narratives to inform decision-making paired with bar-raising storytelling capabilities

Excellent verbal communication, ability to captivate large and diverse audiences, up to the executive leadership
