We are seeking a Principal PM to drive the development of Security Content for our NDR product portfolio. You will serve as a bridge between our research and engineering teams to ensure that our detections, data, and analytics are providing exceptional value to our customers. The right candidate will have domain experience in Network Security monitoring technologies (such as Zeek & Suricata) coupled with a background in product management. As the Principal PM, you will be responsible for expanding our products and helping take our business to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Formulate a strategic vision for security content across Corelight's product portfolio.
• Analyze the NDR market, competition, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering & UX teams to innovate and iterate product features, validating developments through customer feedback.
• Partner with the Go-To-Market (GTM) team to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
• Lead initiatives with the Corelight Labs and Data Science teams in areas like ML/AI integration and enhanced security detection.
• Manage key technology developments, including contributions to open source projects Zeek & Suricata.
• Act as a Corelight evangelist and trusted advisor, supporting customer SOC teams in achieving their security goals.
• Mentor junior Product Managers, fostering skill development and ensuring high-quality customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience and passion for cyber security technology, and Open Source software
• Domain knowledge of the Network Detection & Response (NDR) space; familiarity with solutions such as Intrusion Detection (IDS), Network Security Monitoring (NSM), and Packet Capture (PCAP)
• Hands-on knowledge of open source tools such as Zeek and Suricata
• Experience and understanding of network detections and analytics using a wide variety of tools and techniques
• Deep understanding of SOC workflows, threat detection & incident response use cases, MITRE ATT&CK framework. 
• 5-10 years as a product manager building and launching technical products in enterprise security
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and applications
• Strong communication skills with experience in coordinating across multiple teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, creative environment.
• Education: Degrees in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience); MBA is a bonus but not required
