Principal Product Manager – HR SolutionsRole Overview

Iron Mountain is seeking a Principal Product Manager – HR Solutions to drive the strategy, development, and scaling of innovative digital solutions within the Human Resources domain. This is a Director-level role designed for a strategic, hands-on leader who will initially oversee high-impact product initiatives while leading a team of subject matter experts.

This role focuses on transforming HR workflows through GenAI, LLMs, and Agentic AI, specifically tailored for Global Business Services (GBS) and Global Capability Center (GCC) environments. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex HR business processes and enterprise-scale digital transformation, ensuring alignment with global compliance and payroll priorities. 

Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Team Growth
  • Strategic Roadmap Execution: Define and execute the strategic product roadmap for HR solutions within the GBS framework, ensuring it aligns with broader enterprise goals.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of subject matter experts and product owners to deliver measurable business outcomes and high-performance product cultures.

  • Enterprise Alignment: Drive alignment with global HR priorities and core systems, including employee records, payroll, and compliance frameworks.

Product Development & Roadmap
  • End-to-End Lifecycle Management: Partner with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver initiatives that create clear value across the HR portfolio.

  • Digital Transformation: Act as the primary visionary for HR digital transformation, moving manual departmental processes into automated, scalable SaaS environments.

  • Stakeholder Influence: Influence senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to secure buy-in for long-term product strategies and investment.  

AI, Automation & Ecosystems
  • AI Product Innovation: Identify and deliver GenAI, LLM, and Agentic AI-enabled opportunities to improve automation, data intelligence, and decision support within HR workflows.

  • Intelligent Design: Leverage next-generation AI capabilities to design data-driven solutions that address efficiency gaps in document-heavy HR processes (e.g., onboarding, auditing, and policy management).

  • Data Intelligence: Utilize advanced AI frameworks to provide actionable insights for workforce planning and employee lifecycle management.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree is required; a focus on Business, Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.

  • Experience: 10+ years in Product Management, with a proven track record of leading enterprise or departmental solutions in a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of HR business processes, including payroll integration, employee record management, and global regulatory compliance.

  • AI Proficiency: Proven experience leveraging GenAI, LLMs, and Agentic AI capabilities to design and deploy intelligent, data-driven solutions.

  • Strategic Influence: Demonstrated ability to define complex product strategies, manage cross-functional execution, and influence senior-level stakeholders.

  • Execution Excellence: Strong background in managing the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and design thinking to market launch and adoption.

Reasonably expected salary range: $163,400.00 - $217,900.00
