The Role

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Product Management Role. This individual will be responsible for supporting strategic, long-term & high impact projects implementing global payments and liquidity. Roadmap includes cross border Foreign Exchange FX (international) payments and receipts, account services and customer reporting. Additionally, this role also will support data product management across the full International Infrastructure payments and deposits product set. This added role responsibility is to ensure international product data strategies for product development are aligned with data engineering concepts data quality monitoring and governance while balancing business goals for industry best practice in consideration of completeness, privacy, compliance and transparency. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at www.wellsfargojobs.com

In this role, you will:

  • Extend the value for customers globally by developing and delivering a re-usable cross border, cross-currency payment solution that creates a consistent experience
  • Develop a data management strategy and roadmap including data architecture, pipelines, data quality and governance that is integrated with product delivery of international payments and deposit products
  • Drive solution development through matrixed partnerships with Product, facilitated execution across the business, technology, operations, risk, etc. and appropriate product ownership
  • Define, document and communicate the strategy, roadmap, requirements and features of the global payment processing construct
  • Provide cross-functional leadership from product conception to launch - bridging gaps within the company including sales, operations, implementation, servicing, technology and marketing
  • Work with risk and compliance teams to ensure all product compliance requirements are defined, documented, and achieved
  • Analyze market and competitive conditions and lay out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands
  • Coordinate and facilitate work across cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, Customer Service and other key business partners), for the purpose of eliciting and documenting detailed business requirements, specifically related to cross border, cross-currency (FX) payables and receivables
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to obtain subject matter expert input and drive out product features and functionality
  • Research and analyze internal and external product, industry and regulatory trends to further refine requirements
  • Support the development, maintenance and governance of end-to-end workflows for all products and services

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Treasury, Cash Management, Payments & Liquidity background or experience
  • Domestic and international payments, foreign exchange and related concepts (payables via ACH, Wire, mobile wallet, digital wallet, etc.)
  • Data Management skills including data quality, ETL, data governance, data analysis and management information reporting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas to diverse business and technical audiences
  • Self-starter who is able to operate with autonomy and drive progress
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
  • Microsoft Visio experience
  • Knowledge of PDLC & SDLC
  • Financial services industry experience

Job Expectations:

  • Not eligible for visa sponsorship
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Hybrid work schedule at one of the posted locations

Base Salary Range for NYC: $138,500-$287,600 USD
