We are a multidisciplinary team. Our roles include product design, content design, experience research, design systems, and design operations.
We build useful, usable, and innovative experiences for Zillow customers. These experiences live across web, mobile, and internal software platforms.
Our team cares deeply about solving problems for real people – customers, co-workers, and everyone else. We seek to make everything a little better than we found it.About the role
As a Senior Product Designer on the RMX AI Tools team, you’ll design the systems and tools that enable Zillow’s rich media operations at scale. You’ll shape how people, automation, and data connect — turning complex workflows into clear, efficient, and intuitive experiences.
This role blends systems thinking with executional craft. You’ll partner with operational leaders, product managers, and engineers to understand how work flows through people and machines. From there, you’ll map service blueprints, define information architecture, and design the interfaces that make those systems usable and effective.
You’ll take projects end-to-end — from early workflow analysis and concept definition through detailed visual design and implementation guidance — delivering experiences that balance clarity, efficiency, and delight for Zillow’s internal users.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with operations, product, and engineering partners to analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
Create service blueprints and system maps that visualize how people, tools, and data interact.
Translate operational processes into scalable information architecture, task flows, and interaction models.
Design routing systems, review tools, and annotation interfaces that support AI-assisted and human-in-the-loop workflows.
Deliver high-fidelity, pixel-perfect designs and specifications that guide engineering implementation.
Prototype and test design concepts to validate usability and performance.
Advocate for clarity, efficiency, and quality in internal tool experiences.
Communicate design rationale effectively across teams and build alignment through documentation and storytelling.
Contribute to the evolution of design systems supporting automation and workflow-based tools.
Please submit a portfolio and resume with your application.
6+ years of experience designing digital products, internal tools, or operational platforms.
Strong skills in service design, workflow mapping, and information architecture.
Experience designing AI-assisted, automation, annotation workflows or human-in-the-loop systems is desirable.
Proven ability to work with operational stakeholders to define needs and translate them into clear design solutions.
Demonstrated end-to-end ownership — from workflow analysis through pixel-perfect UI delivery.
Deep expertise in interaction and visual design craft, including systems-level thinking.
Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
Comfort operating independently and bringing structure to complex, ambiguous problems.

What We Do
Join our mission to give the people power to unlock life’s next chapter.
Our homes are the heartbeat of our lives, and we believe that finding a home shouldn’t be so hard in today’s always-on world. That’s why we’re reimagining the traditional rules of real estate to make it easier than ever to move from one home to the next.
Our journey began nearly 15 years ago with a handful of employees and one big idea: to make it radically easier for people to move. We began by helping people understand and track their homes with the Zestimate, our proprietary algorithm, and then with advanced technology and valuable connections with real estate professionals. Today, Zillow has become a household name. People are more likely to search for “Zillow” than “real estate,” and our name is often used as a verb.
While other industries have ushered in a new era of convenience, the time for seamless and convenient real estate experience is now. This is our next chapter as a company.
We’re looking for smart, passionate adventurers to join us as we reimagine the real estate transaction and change the way people buy, sell, rent and finance their homes.
