About The Role:

We are looking for a talented Principal Product Designer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of the Layer1 product - helping drive an amazing user experience for our customers. 

The role reports directly to the Head of Design and collaborates closely with the Design Team (Product & Brand) across Europe and Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing from scratch, enhancing, and maintaining the Layer1 product flows;
• Creating shareable interactive prototypes of Layer1 implementations to aid the sales and marketing efforts;
• Contributing to improvements to the design system and UI kits.

What we need from you:

• 10+ years of professional experience in product design work, with a proven track of building amazing products;
• Solid understanding of blockchain and crypto payments;
• Expertise in Figma, including scalable design and advanced prototyping;
• Strong understanding of product creation and handoff processes for web development;
• Examples of applied accessibility design practices.

Nice to haves:

• Basic experience with front-end development is a plus, to facilitate more fruitful conversations with FE developers;
