That's where you come in. AOL is searching for an energetic and driven designer with a solid visual design and UX portfolio to lead design initiatives across our core consumer products. What You’ll Do:

Lead Design Projects: You’ll take charge of major design initiatives, guiding our team to create user-friendly, visually stunning products reinforcing AOL's voice.

Build Partnerships: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure our designs are not only beautiful but also functional.


Shape Design Strategy: Help shape our design vision and strategy, ensuring consistency and quality across all products.

Build Culture: Your energy and commitment to beautiful, mind-changing design will raise the bar for visual design across all of AOL.

Sell your ideas: The best designers are also great at selling their ideas. You know how to tailor your pitch to fit your audience, and you can win them over by understanding their concerns and goals.


Who You Are:
• You have a strong portfolio showcasing your design work, with a focus on digital products.
• You’re experienced in leading design teams and managing projects from start to finish.
• You have a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• You’re great at communicating your ideas and collaborating with different teams.
• You’re passionate about design and keeping up with industry trends.

Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in digital product design for web and mobile.
• Portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual design instincts with a preferred focus on editorial design.
• Demonstrated history of bringing a human voice to digital products.

• A passion for typography that annoys friends and family
• Illustration skills would be great too.

The compensation for this position ranges from $143,625.00 - $299,375.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives. Yahoo provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation, sick time, parental leave and an employee assistance program.
