Job Description
Responsibilities (mid-senior level)
- Develop advanced applications for improving semiconductor process and equipment performance using a variety of data (sensors, metrology, process, etc.)
- Develop methods and prototype solutions related to process control and recipe optimization
- Create advanced models to analyze simulation and experiment results
- Lead engagements with customers to demonstrate advanced process applications
Qualifications
- Attained a PhD degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or relevant field at the start of the position
- 8 years of experience in a fab.
- Experienced in semiconductor processing equipment and applications.
- Experienced in numerical and optimization algorithms
- Experienced in machine learning algorithms and programming software (e.g. Python, MATLAB)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be fluent in English
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes or metrology data analysis
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and control theory
- Strong knowledge in applied mathematics
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 35 pounds. This position also requires 4 to 6 hours per day at a computer screen/keyboard.
