Autodesk is seeking an experienced strategic marketing professional to join our Platform and Cross Industry Marketing team in the Worldwide Marketing Organization. As the Principal Portfolio & Go to Market Frameworks Manager, you will be directly reporting into the Director of Platform Marketing and be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our Audience and Outcomes Framework  initiatives, in addition to contributing to the ongoing development of our platform portfolio architecture. In this role, you will collaborate with global stakeholders from marketing, sales, customer success, and strategy teams to understand strategic needs, ensure frameworks are understood and embedded within the organization, and drive effective marketing strategies that support business objectives 

 

You are the ideal candidate for this role if you love pulling apart complex, strategic problems and simplifying them. You thrive in collaborative environments, are detail oriented, and are constantly looking for ways to optimize and improve current state processes. You are passionate about leveraging frameworks to enhance marketing effectiveness and have a deep understanding of marketing strategies, audience segmentation, and performance metrics. You have a demonstrated track record of understanding and managing marketing frameworks and/or platform and portfolio architecture projects.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Lead the strategic evolution of our GTM frameworks, processes and tools in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, identifying opportunities for simplification and optimization. Help ensure frameworks are integrated into overall marketing strategies and systems (e.g. Integrated Marketing Plan)

  • Framework Governance and Optimization: Ongoing governance, maintenance, and improvement of the Outcomes and Audience Frameworks. Conduct regular audits and research checks to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of frameworks. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the frameworks

  • Platform Portfolio Architecture:  Collaborate across Brand, Strategy, Marketing, Platform and Product teams to develop a strategic architecture and naming framework for the Autodesk Platform. Develop and maintain a governance system

  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with global marketing teams, strategy teams, sales teams, product managers, and business unit leaders to understand their strategic needs and ensure alignment with the frameworks

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 to 12 years of professional experience in marketing or strategy roles, ideally at a software company, and with a proven track record of taking complex problems and simplifying them to achieve better outcomes

  • Extensive experience in stakeholder collaboration, strategic planning, and performance analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Managing and optimizing marketing frameworks within a large, multinational corporation

  • Experience bringing platforms to market or developing platform portfolio and naming architectures  

  • Familiarity with the architecture, construction, design and manufacturing, and/or media and entertainment industries preferred

  • MBA, advanced degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Business Administration or a relevant Marketing field

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $147,600 and $238,810. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
