Key Responsibilities
Internal Developer Platform (IDP):
Architect and evolve IDP solutions, automating processes across the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and enhance IDP for SAFe release trains.
IDP Integrations:
Integrate IDP with infrastructure management tools using IaC frameworks.
Lead integration between IDP and CI/CD pipelines, source code repositories, and governance practices.
Drive integrations with Test Automation frameworks and operational automation for monitoring and recovery.
Piloting and Enabling:
Explore and pilot new tools and technologies for development teams.
Provide training and guidance post-POC to enable efficient adoption.
Collaborate on application architecture for seamless platform integration.
Team Growth:
Mentor and supervise junior engineers to ensure timely and quality deliverables.
Qualifications
Education: University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Experience: 10+ years in professional software development.
Core Skills
Software Development: Expertise in modern programming practices.
Software Architecture: Strong background in microservices and distributed systems.
Debugging & Troubleshooting: Advanced skills in diagnosing complex issues.
System & Infrastructure:
Databases: MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP
Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure
IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi
Monitoring: Splunk, ELK, Datadog
CI/CD: Familiarity with Jenkins, TeamCity, OctopusDeploy, ArgoCD.
Container Orchestration: Kubernetes/OpenShift expertise.
Nice to Have
Experience with C# and .NET.
Airline DCS-related development.
TDD, CI/CD implementation.
Infrastructure development for complex solutions.
System monitoring tools and services.
