This is a hands-on engineering role accountable for platform architecture, configuration governance, integration development and operational health. The engineer inherits a mature and heavily customized environment and is responsible for stabilizing it, documenting it, and advancing it deliberately. The role additionally administers secondary portfolio platforms (Wrike, Lucid Suite, Camtasia) and serves as technical mentor and escalation point for junior administrators, acting as the authority on what is possible, what is advisable, and how to implement it well.

The position may be based in approved jurisdictions in the United States and reports to the Director, SRE and Cyber Hygiene.

What You’ll Do

  • Establish configuration governance, manage sandbox-to-production testing and deployment, and continuously retire unused or duplicative configurations.

  • Manage licenses, conduct semiannual entitlement audits, and forecast future needs.

Integration and Automation Development

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations and automation using Jira Automation, Power Automate, and Microsoft Graph.

  • Own integrations connecting Atlassian products with Salesforce, Workday, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Copilot.

  • Monitor integration health, rapidly resolve failures, and ensure automations are maintained through service accounts.

  • Evaluate Atlassian Marketplace applications for usability, security, data residency, and cost.

  • Develop reporting that provides visibility into platform usage and service performance.

Secondary Platform Administration

  • Administer Wrike, Lucid Suite, and Camtasia, including provisioning, licensing, configuration, and usage reporting.

  • Support license audits, renewal analysis, and other platform administration priorities.

Technical Leadership and Knowledge Management

  • Mentor junior administrators, review configuration work, and serve as the escalation point for complex platform issues.

  • Document architecture, integrations, automations, and customization decisions.

  • Participate in requirements gathering and advise stakeholders on technical feasibility, effort, and platform risk.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, computer science, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related analytical role

  • Foundational knowledge of statistics, data wrangling, and visualization using tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data preparation and reporting

  • Ability to follow established methods and processes, while recognizing when to escalate novel or ambiguous issues

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to internal stakeholders
