At a Glance:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Infrastructure Technologist to join our team. As an Oracle Infrastructure Technologist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Oracle infrastructure environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of Oracle databases and related technologies. Your expertise in Oracle infrastructure will be crucial in supporting our organization's data management and business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality database solutions.

What you will do:
Solution Design & Architecture:
- Develop and design comprehensive Oracle-based solutions, including databases, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), and Oracle Cloud.
- Provide architectural guidance for integrating Oracle systems with other enterprise applications.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance database architecture to meet business requirements.
Implementation & Deployment:
- Lead the implementation of Oracle solutions, including database migration, upgrades, and cloud transitions.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure successful deployment of Oracle technologies.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
Performance Tuning & Optimization:
- Monitor database performance and provide tuning recommendations.
- Implement best practices for database security, data integrity, and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Oracle-related issues to ensure optimal system performance.
Cloud & On-Premises Integration:
- Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions that integrate Oracle Cloud services with on-premises infrastructure.
- Evaluate and recommend Oracle cloud products and services for strategic cloud adoption.
- Ensure smooth data migration to Oracle Cloud and hybrid environments.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration:
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on Oracle technologies and provide technical leadership to other team members.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for internal teams on Oracle best practices.
What you need:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience with database design, normalization, and optimization techniques.

Familiarity with database security best practices and tools.

In-depth knowledge of OCI, Oracle database administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.

Strong understanding of Oracle infrastructure components, such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM), and Oracle Data Guard.

Proficiency in Oracle database backup and recovery techniques, including RMAN and Oracle Flashback.
-
Knowledge of cloud-based database technologies, such as Azure SQL Database
-
Experience in Microsoft SQL, with at least 5 years of experience managing large-scale SQL Server databases.

Proficiency in SQL scripting and query optimization.
-
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
-
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
-
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
-
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Not a must, but a plus:

Experience with Oracle Exadata and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting is a plus
