The Optics PTE team take world-class Silicon Photonics products, Optical light Engine, and DCI transceiver modules from early R&D/NPI to volume production. The team owns end-to-end manufacturing solution development and execution.What You Can Expect
NPI and Product engineering owner on optical module and/or light engine (NPO, CPO) products.
Responsible to work with design, marketing, supply chain, quality, OSATs and CMs to develop end-to-end manufacturing and test solutions, qualify and release to production.
Define, validate and release production flow and spec through prototype and pilot builds
Drive early DFM/PFMEA feedback discussions
Owns BOM release, alpha/beta/pilot stage product build, production bring up, yield improvement, troubleshooting, and manufacturing readiness.
Partner with quality team on completing reliability de-risking and qualification.
Continue to sustain production together with offshore manufacturing team and CMs after production release.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Photonics, Optical Engineering, or a related field; Advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 10 years of industry experience in product engineering or product development for volume production, with a focus on Silicon photonics, optical transceiver modules, subassemblies
Prior NPI/manufacturing experience in optical transceivers or other optoelectronic modules is a big plus.
Strong experience in opto-electrical testing and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with assembly and packaging processes such as wire bonding, die attach, wafer packaging, active optical alignment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Expected Base Pay Range (USD)
136,880 - 205,000, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
