Job Description:
What You'll Do
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting Third Party Risk Testing reviews, over vendor processes, that encompass multiple risk disciplines and engage internal and external business partners. Identifies potential risk areas, issues, or gaps and partners with leadership and business partners in the development of corrective action plans for sustained risk mitigation. Acts as risk contact and SME on the team for various topics, including but not limited to regulatory risks, operational risks, and control design. This includes advising, assessing, and effectively challenging all operational risks and mitigants for the specific business and their impact on both risk appetite and the goals and objectives of the business. The role will also be expected to engage with, business partners at all levels in the organization, escalate risks when necessary, and effectively engage with regulators. This role may participate on cross-team Non-Financial Risk department special projects and ad hoc analysis/reporting to senior management on operational risks.
How You'll Do It
- Executes Third Party risk testing. Plans, directs, and coordinates Third Party Testing reviews pursuant to departmental guidelines and within established timelines with high quality results. Identifies potential risk areas, issues, or gaps for discussion with leadership and business partners. Oversees communication on review statuses, follow -up actions, and identified findings to management and business partners.
- Partners with leadership and business partners in the development of corrective action plans for sustained risk mitigation. Facilitates monitoring of action plan trajectory and completion.
- Develops and creates accurate and timely reporting of all reviews for leadership and business partners to ensure transparency around completed monitoring and testing plans and drive action over developed corrective action plans.
- Provides oversight, direction, and feedback as it relates to risk management and efforts to strengthen of overall Third Party Risk Management, to leadership and business partners.
Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management
- 6+ years of experience in Law, Risk or Operations
- 3+ years of experience in first- or second-line risk, control, or compliance role in a highly regulated financial institution subject to Heightened Standards
- In Lieu of Education 10+ years of experience in Risk management experience in a highly regulated financial/depository environment with specific focus on operational risk management, internal audit, or related

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
