Job Description:
What You'll Do
Advises business partners on understanding and mitigating the inherent risk throughout their business processes. Partners with the business to improve the control environment by developing new/revised controls and resolves open issues. Serves as a liaison between business unit and Corporate Risk Management (CRM), Compliance, Legal, and other Business Risk Office groups. Executes various Preventative Risk Management activities and initiatives such as but not limited to risk and control assessments, operational risk events reporting, key risk indicator reporting, business continuity planning, records management, and new initiative process. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
How You'll Do It

  • Need an employee to maintain accurate inventory of all Consumer Banking Risk Assessable Units, manage RPR review and yearly attestation, manage RCSA planning and scheduling, ensuring standard work/job aids are updated and align with current guidance and continuous improvement opportunities identified by team.
  • Training new RCSA team members or existing employees on changes occurring from RCSA team or Policy/Standard changes.
  • This role will also be able to flex as needed, to support execution of RCSA. Critical responsibilities that current team cannot support due to volume of RCSA execution
  • Performs walkthroughs and provide consultation on existing and new processes and where appropriate facilitate documentation thereof including the identification of business risks and controls. Ensures that controls are in place to mitigate legal, regulatory and other applicable business risk. Where control gaps exist, provides consultation on the design of controls and monitor until execution
  • Provides consultation on and monitor timely execution of essential risk processes and requirements including, but not limited to, Business Continuity Planning and testing and Records Retention.
  • Executes reporting including operational risk events, key risk indicators, and business reviews in accordance with Company policies and standards.
  • Collaborates with business partners to ensure root cause analysis is performed and that appropriate corrective action plans are put in place to address issues stemming from the risk assessments, internal audits, regulatory findings, business unit test monitoring, operational risk incidents, and other applicable sources where gaps are identified.
  • Provides relevant risk training to meet current and evolving organizational requirements and/or business needs.


Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business or Administration and Management or related
  • 6+ Risk Management, Internal Controls, Finance, or related experience
  • In lieu of degree 8+ years Risk Management, Internal Controls, Finance, or related experience

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $88,500.00 to $149,300.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
