The Role

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Data fuels Nike’s digital transformation and the Trade Enablement organization, within NDDC Trade Excellence, is at the forefront of that transformation, delivering data obsessed innovation and insights to support critical Nike initiatives and processes.

In your role you will empower teams across Nike by translating Nike’s digital data into dashboards, insights and recommendations. You will work closely with global and regional partners in Digital Operations, Launch Planning and Experience Planning amongst others to anticipate their reporting and analytic needs in all aspects of the end-to-end digital operations and consumer journey. You will partner with data engineering, insights, global tech and related teams to ensure we are always serving the most timely and accurate information to our stakeholders. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You are unconventionally curious, especially about how data and insights can be used to optimize Nike’s processes and experiences. You enjoy finding relationships between disparate data sets and creating clarity in a muddied data environment. You excel when you have the chance to craft and sell a vision and work with a team to break down and prioritize the work. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment focused on your stakeholders and are excited by the challenge of building something from the ground up. You ask good questions, are continually learning as well as finding opportunities to share knowledge with others. You:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree preferably in Statistics, Business, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience and training
  • Bring 7+ years of relevant experience providing reporting and analytics solutions with at least 2+ years leading a team in this field
  • Are a strong and experienced team leader with the ability to coach, mentor and career plan for team members
  • Have outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with management, technical peers, and business partners 
  • Demonstrable ability to respond to and prioritize changing business demands effectively 
  • Deep expertise with tableau and excel and experience with snowflake and SQL

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

Through our digital platforms (Nike.com, Nike App, SNKRS, Nike Running Club & Nike Training Club), the Nike Direct Digital Commerce Trade Excellence team plays a critical role in bringing Nike’s digital experiences to life around the world! Every year we ensure over 100,000 product experiences and launches are shared with our consumers on time and in the most premium brand expression Nike has.

You will lead and mentor a dedicated team to provide the dashboards and the analytics that inform our digital leaders of the consumer experience and marketplace opportunities. As a member of the Digital Trade Excellence team you will help to lead and influence our key strategic imperatives with regards to digital commerce. In this role you will :

  • Empower our team by ruthlessly prioritizing the work and making the trade-offs required based on your understanding of enabler requirements, defects, dependent teams and our goals
  • Be a strong collaborator with key partners to understand requirements, support data driven decision making and ensure rich communication of product and analytics changes.
  • Translate business needs into functional code for reporting and rich visualizations while also creating the necessary documentation to support and maintain it
  • Design, develop and lead the front-end data and reporting infrastructure that supports our data and analytics team
  • Showcase strong project management capabilities to manage multiple project streams and complexity with a propensity for thinking through projects in a process-oriented way 
  • Manage and optimize operational processes for direct team management and provide direction for improving processes for Trade Enablement organization holisticall
