Position Overview
You will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, operation, and optimization of our complex network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise network technologies, including Palo Alto firewalls, Prisma, Cisco routing and switching, Meraki, and cloud-based network architectures on both Azure and AWS. Additionally, you will play a key role in mentoring and leading a team of network engineers.What You’ll Do

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage highly scalable and secure network infrastructures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
Develop and implement network cloud architecture strategies for both Azure and AWS.
Utilize CI/CD tools like GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms to streamline deployment and manage infrastructure code.
Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and Prisma to ensure robust network security.
Design and implement Cisco routing and switching solutions for optimal network performance and scalability.
Manage and optimize Meraki wireless networks for seamless user experience.
Automate network tasks and configurations using tools such as Ansible to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Lead and participate in network troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Conduct performance monitoring and identify opportunities for network optimization.
Develop and maintain network documentation and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate on network design and implementation that spans both cloud environments and on-premises infrastructure.
Mentor and guide junior network engineers in their professional development.
Stay up-to-date on the latest networking technologies and trends.
Contribute to the development and implementation of IT security policies.
Participate in the development and management of IT project budgets.
What You’ll Bring to Zelis
Qualifications:
Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with a proven track record of success in complex network environments.
Strong understanding of both cloud network architecture concepts (Azure, AWS) and on-premises networking.
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible is required.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
In-depth knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls and Prisma configuration and management.
Extensive experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies (CCIE certification preferred).
Experience with Meraki wireless network management.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Leadership experience and the ability to mentor others.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) a plus.
