The Opportunity
The Digital Growth and Ecommerce team at Adobe Japan ensures customers achieve success relative to their intent and derive significant membership value, while delivering Adobe shareholder value as measured in ARR growth and critical metric performance improvements. The team drives growth through key business levers such as optimized user journeys, promotional strategy, free customer trial experiences, add-on/up-sell and customer retention. Japan is Adobe’s 2nd largest market and has many unique aspects that make it a priority for Adobe’s overall strategy.
In this innovative role, you will be at the forefront of Adobe’s next generation experiences on web and in mobile apps. You will build an end-to-end understanding of the customer experience and then act on opportunities through in-quarter actions as well as multi-quarter roadmap planning. This role is highly cross functional and will collaborate across several organizations to ensure goal alignment and strong execution of strategic priorities that drive ARR and customer success. Critically, this role will play a foundational role in defining how future experiences are built in Japan for web, mobile web, and mobile apps.
As an advocate for the customer, your mantra is to remove friction and challenge mental models in order to deliver significant improvements to the user experience. You will partner with Digital Growth & Ecommerce, A.com, Web & Mobile Product, User Research, Business Intelligence, and Marketing teams to implement with precision and approach and solve problems strategically.
What you'll Do

Lead the mobile app store business in Japan, using existing Adobe frameworks and creating new ones as needed.

Create and run a framework for optimizing mobile web journeys to the app stores or multi-surface, multi-journey-step mobile web experiences.

Build a robust understanding of the key user journeys in Japan, especially Mobile, Social, and Web Product focused ones, and identify action plans based on your E2E knowledge. Create clear, compelling recommendations to prioritize growth opportunities, supported by strong analysis and business logic, and articulate them to leadership to gain support.

Co-create an outstanding end-to-end customer experience for both web and mobile users through rapid, iterative testing and the resulting findings from those efforts.

Diagnose the health of a product discovery, initial use, and engagement, from exploration through to activation and repeat use, in order to find opportunities and deliver value to customers on an ongoing basis.

Influence key Product decisions on Mobile and Web through your understanding of Product Management and experience working on product roadmaps.

Define, translate, and communicate results, including near and long-term business impact.
What you need to succeed
-
10+ years commerce, software, management consulting, or business analytics experience. At least 3 years of Product Management experience with an emphasis on testing and responsibilities driving product roadmap decisions.

An interest in Japan and the unique needs and behaviors of Japanese consumers and SMBs, especially with mobile and social.

Data driven with strong analytical skills and an ability to quickly turn data into actions.

Track record of harnessing technology for personalization at scale: using APIs, machine-learning models, cross-platform experiences, and behavioral data to drive growth.

Experience creating and leading cross-functional teams built around driving data-informed hypotheses that will power experiment design and findings.

Experience scaling operations to ensuring adherence to a thorough experimentation methodology and detailed execution that is sustainable.

Interest and some knowledge of Japanese is preferred.

MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
