A Day in the LifeAortic Stent Grafts are a mini-invasive option to treat Aortic pathologies such as AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm), or TAA (Thoracic Aorta Aneurysm). An aneurysm is the bulging or ballooning of a weakened area of a blood vessel. The wall of the aorta can become weak due to age, disease, or trauma. This may cause the aortic wall to bulge and, as this grows, the wall of the aorta becomes weaker. This may cause the aorta to rupture and lead to massive internal bleeding. An aneurysm rupture can cause death and needs immediate medical attention. Through state-of-the-art technology and devices we prevent this, extending lives of fragile patients.
