Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Logistics Engineer/Sr. Principal Logistics Engineer to join its team in Roy UT.

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Support development of a product support plan demonstrating solutions for all 12 IPS elements
- Synthesize logistics data, develop and maintain metric dashboards, and create reportsto drive operational insight and decision-making.
- Use provisioning data to identify, select, catalog and determine support material requirements, and in the development of Provisioning Parts List and design Change Notifications.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and configuration rationales; develop and execute unit-test scenarios and data sets.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive logistics support documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain logistics database
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders and SMEs to architect integrated logistics solutions that align with strategic objectives and sustain long-term capability.
- Foster strong relationships with the user community, acting as a trusted resource and advisor while ensuring leadership involvement and ownership of logistics initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Principal Logistics Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM and 5 years of experience, 3 years of experience with master’s degree, 0 years of experience with PhD.
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Ability to obtain both Top Secret clearance and Special Access within a reasonable period as determined by the business needs of the company.
- 1 year of experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and product data sheets for electrical components.
- 1 year of experience developing logistics plans for weapons systems in accordance with MIL Standards.
- Knowledge and application of all 12 Integrated Product Support elements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office suite; self-motivated, takes initiative, and demonstrates strong team-player capabilities across multiple functions.
Sr. Principal Logistics Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8 years of experience, 6 years of experience with master’s degree, 4 years of experience with PhD.
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Ability to obtain both Top Secret clearance and Special Access within a reasonable period as determined by the business needs of the company.
- 3 years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and product data sheets for electrical components.
- 3 years of experience developing logistics plans for weapons systems in accordance with MIL Standards.
- Knowledge and application of all 12 Integrated Product Support elements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office suite; self-motivated, takes initiative, and demonstrates strong team-player capabilities across multiple functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Primary Level Salary Range: $73,900.00 - $110,900.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $92,200.00 - $138,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
