The Principal Integration Architect will be responsible for managing the design, development, modification of application integration for payer clinical utilization management platform. This senior technical role is expected to be hands-on in providing functional/technical support for multiple projects, leading design of clinical and business enterprise models, both significant in scope and impact throughout the organization. The individual will be a strong and integral part of an overall technical team responsible for the successful implementation of regulatory and product requirements supporting multiple markets. 

Responsibilities: 
•Define strategic IT capability maps to describe utilization management (UM) for Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and ACA application process requirements.
•Partner closely with product owners and engineering managers to define roadmaps and planning objectives to meet solution designs.
•Design and development of data integration and migration strategies, HL7 / FHIR, EDI, Web services.
•Provide data integration and API solution designs for clinical/UM applications that meet business requirements.
•Lead and coordinate technical and business discussions on future architecture direction across the product portfolio.
•Review and develop architectural requirements at the domain level within the product portfolio or team.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement well-architected, secure, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions aligned with industry best practices and healthcare standards (HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR).

Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent.
•5-7 years of related experience in a technology-driven development 
•Strong demonstrated experience with ZeOmega Jiva SaaS offerings 
•Experience in integration API design and development Web Services, JSON - API integration experience includes HL7, EDI, FHIR, etc.
•Expert knowledge of interoperability between payer UM, healthcare IT & EMR/EHR systems.
•Ability to consult with customers on aligning outcomes with desired technical solutions at an enterprise level.
•Skilled in analyzing, designing, and developing software solution roadmaps and implementation plans.
•Knowledge of AI/ML applications and their relevance in healthcare.
•Expertise in designing and deploying secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions for healthcare workloads.
•Deep understanding of healthcare IT regulations (HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR) and familiarity with healthcare applications, EMR systems, and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR).

Location
This position is remote for residents of AL, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, LA, ME, MD, MN, NC, NE, NH, ND, NV, OK, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV, WI and WY.
