Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal, Information Governance Advisor to join our Information Governance (IG) Advisory team as part of Professional Services. In this role, you will be responsible for building strategic, long-term accounts and leading high-impact engagements to develop our information governance business. You will lead a high-performing team of consultants dedicated to solving complex data challenges for global enterprise clients.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Drive business growth by identifying new revenue opportunities and delivering value-added proposals that address complex client information governance challenges.
Build and maintain sustainable executive relationships by leading high-quality project delivery, ensuring all engagements meet profitability and schedule targets.
Lead practice development by mentoring junior consultants and contributing to industry thought leadership through speaking engagements and trade publications.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
7+ years of experience in information management industry consulting, with a proven track record of managing multi-million dollar services revenue.
Strong knowledge of modern enterprise information technology, including cloud systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and data remediation tools.
Proven ability to design and implement multi-year Information Governance roadmaps across records management, privacy, information security, and legal hold domains.
Professional industry certifications such as Certified Records Manager (CRM), Information Governance Professional (IGP), or a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
