Leads manufacturing engineering for high-voltage battery modules and packs, including process design, DFA, DFM, PFMEA, laser welding qualification, fixtures, tooling, equipment procurement, process controls, and documentation. Collaborates with design, quality, suppliers, and production teams; leads POCs and DOEs; ensures safety and industrial-standard compliance; supports audits and trains production staff.

1. Work with High-Voltage battery system Manufacturing engineering to establish manufacturing processes for Battery Modules/Packs and its related components.
2. Perform DFA, DFM, and PFMEA for all the associated processes at the battery module/pack assembly level.
3 Ownership on process design and execution on Battery laser welding process for battery modules. Qualify welding in accordance with International standards.
4. Design and manufacture applicable fixtures, tools etc for efficient process execution.
5. Define the build sequence, process steps and develop suitable manufacturing assembly steps.

10. Develop process documentation for all processes, such as MIS and route cards. Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with industrial standards. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Maintain detailed records of process parameters, equipment specifications, maintenance activities and performance metrics
11. Train and support production staff on new processes, safe battery operation, equipment and tool operation, and industry best practices.
12. Understand AS9100 quality standards and lead internal and external quality audits.
Requirements
Experience
12-18 Years in Manufacturing engineering and Battery manufacturing.
Experience with an eVTOL company is an additional advantage for this position.
Laser welding of Pouch format cells, Cell to pack architecture.
