The Principal II, Talent and Organisational Development (OD) will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of corporate training programs, policies, and procedures. Working across multiple work groups, this role will collaborate with business leaders and HR business partners to create effective solutions to grow organisational and leadership capability in areas such as: employee engagement, performance management, coaching, leadership and career development.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the talent and organisational development strategy through the design, development, and implementation of solutions using a blend of classroom, experiential, virtual, eLearning, and self-service learning delivery and other innovative practices
  • Provide a broad range of consultative services to business leaders related to employee engagement, team development, performance management, leadership and career development.
  • Measure and track the effectiveness of talent and organisational development programs/processes and operations training.
  • Provide vendor management and build relationships with external providers of talent and organisational development services.

  • Instructional Design Skills – Consistently uses an instructional design model (e.g. ADDIE, SAM) to design and develop learning solutions. Designs solutions that are practical for the business environment; understands the issues and challenges of the business and adapts the design process to meet these needs
  • Communication – Communicate effectively with all levels of employees by e-mail, verbally - one-on-one and group settings
  • Project Management – Demonstrates the ability to work on multiple large-scale projects as a project leader or as the subject matter expert

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of experience in OD, Learning and Development, or Human Resources; last 2 years at a senior specialist or “working” manager level (with strategic and tactical responsibilities)
  • Strong knowledge of leadership development, organisational development, performance management, change management, culture development, and employee engagement
  • Hands-on instructional design experience in the last two years
  • Facilitated learning in a large group setting in the last year
  • Certifications - in various relevant programs and assessment instruments, preferred
