Job Summary & Responsibilities
Role Summary
The Revenue Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end revenue accounting for global sales of capital equipment, services, upgrades, and spares. This role owns revenue journal entries, key monthly reconciliations, and select external reporting disclosures, while also driving improvements to manual revenue processes. The position requires strong ASC 606 judgment, hands‑on execution, and the ability to operate in a close‑intensive public company environment.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Recognition & Execution
- Perform detailed revenue recognition analysis under ASC 606 for:
- Tool sales, services, upgrades, and spare parts
- Complex and non‑standard customer arrangements
- Own revenue journal entries and supporting schedules as part of the monthly close
- Evaluate contract terms, delivery, installation, and acceptance provisions to determine timing of revenue recognition
- Serve as a key point of contact for revenue questions from Sales, Sales Operations FP&A and Legal
Monthly Close & Reconciliations
- Own and execute monthly revenue reconciliations across order systems, sub-ledgers, and the general ledger
- Investigate and resolve reconciling items with a focus on root cause and repeatability
- Improve close efficiency, accuracy, and documentation quality in a largely manual environment
Process Improvement & Transformation
- Identify and implement improvements to manual revenue processes and controls
- Develop scalable procedures, templates, and documentation to support future-state processes
- Consider AI opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risks of errors
- Partner with systems and operations teams to enhance data quality and reporting, without reliance on major system implementations
- Support SOX controls and internal control improvements related to revenue
External Reporting & Audit Support
- Prepare and support select revenue-related disclosures for Forms 10‑Q and 10‑K
- Provide audit support, including memos, schedules, and walkthroughs related to revenue
- Ensure revenue accounting positions are well-documented and audit-ready
FP&A & Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with FP&A on revenue timing, actuals vs. forecast variances, and revenue drivers
- Provide clear explanations of revenue trends and timing differences
Support management reporting and ad hoc revenue analyses, as needed
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
- Experience owning revenue journal entries and reconciliations in a close environment
- Public company experience or strong exposure to external reporting requirements
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and exercise sound accounting judgment
Preferred
- CPA
- Big 4 and/or public company experience
- Semiconductor, manufacturing, or capital equipment industry background
- Experience in manual or evolving revenue environments
- ERP experience (Oracle) and comfort working with large data sets

Compensation & Growth
• Base Salary Range:
$115,200.00 - $172,800.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.Additional Rewards: Annual bonus opportunities and potential long-term incentives tied to both company and individual success.
