About the Team
As a member of our diverse and skilled North America Presales team, you will have the opportunity to communicate and demonstrate the power of Workday's applications to prospects and customers alike. It is this team's job to bring the value of Workday solutions to life and showcase how the world of work can be transformed! Along with working closely with our sales counterparts, this team also sits at the exciting intersection of our Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management teams, providing exposure to various areas of the business.About the Role
What will you do?
As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of our AI-enabled solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to prospective buyers, understanding their business challenges and demonstrating how Workday AI solutions deliver value.
Responsibilities Include:
Leading strategic, complex, platform opportunities. This involves architecting technology solution strategies that achieve customer objectives.
Identifying and analyzing key systems, dependencies, and integration points within the overall solution landscape, developing solution maps.
Providing expert guidance to sales and deal teams on how to differentiate with Workday technology.
Collaborating across functional groups (Value Management, Services, Customer Success Management) to create customer experiences that build long-term, sustainable relationships.
Ability to travel up to 50%
AI Responsibilities
Translating technical concepts: You'll communicate how Workday's AI-powered solution delivers value-driven business results!
Crafting compelling narratives: You'll develop and deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations that showcase Workday's technology.
Solution Architecture: Develop and present comprehensive solutions for demonstration that incorporate AI (Agents, Generative, LLM, etc.), integration methodologies, reporting and analytics.
Leading Voice: Staying informed about AI and technology advancements and contribute as a subject matter expert to initiatives such as webinars.

Basic Qualifications - Senior Enterprise Architect:
2+ years of experience applying AI as a business solution with concepts such as Agents, LLMs, machine learning and natural language processing.
5+ years of experience applying knowledge of cloud architecture, security, reporting, and integration standards
5+ years of Enterprise Software Solution Consulting experience or hands-on experience supporting enterprise software applications.
5+ years delivering compelling presentations both in person and virtual meetings, effectively communicating technical concepts and strategic initiatives
5+ years applied working knowledge of cloud architecture, security, reporting, and integration standards
Basic Qualifications - Principal Enterprise Architect:
2+ years of experience applying AI as a business solution with concepts such as Agents, LLMs, machine learning and natural language processing.
7+ years of experience applying knowledge of cloud architecture, security, reporting, and integration standards
7+ years of Enterprise Software Solution Consulting experience or hands-on experience supporting enterprise software applications.
7+ years delivering compelling presentations both in person and virtual meetings, effectively communicating technical concepts and strategic initiatives
7+ years applied working knowledge of cloud architecture, security, reporting, and integration standards
Other Qualifications:
Solid understanding of cloud architecture, data security, reporting, and integration standards, bringing a point of view and influencing decision making
Multi-pillar Solution& Product Knowledge an understanding of AI Ops / CloudOps
Knowledge of Workday application and technical architecture. Experience with Financial applications is preferred.
Strong value selling skills, with the ability to understand customer needs, effectively communicate value propositions, and build strong relationships to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
Proven objection handling skills, with the ability to address customer concerns effectively and persuasively to improve satisfaction and drive sales conversions
Strong product demonstration skills, with the ability to effectively showcase product features and benefits through engaging presentations and interactive demonstrations.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
