Frame.io, an Adobe Company is revolutionizing creative collaboration for over 1 million professionals globally. As an Engineering Program Manager on Frame.io’s Program Management (PgM) Team, you will help push the boundaries of what's possible in creative collaboration.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving a broad cross-functional workstream to fully integrate Frame.io's purchase, use, and user management workflows into Adobe's core internal Platform.
You will partner with leaders and executives from different Adobe teams to define the multi-year roadmap for integration and work to make it a reality. You’ll vet the proposed direction, ensure priorities are aligned and agreed to, and will keep everyone on the same page amid continual progress and change. You will be accountable to outcomes and must thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings. You’ll be known as an operational leader who leads through ambiguity and ensures nothing falls through cracks.
Position Summary:
As a Principal Engineering PgM, you will lead large strategic programs and drive cross-functional teams passionate about the delivery of sophisticated and compelling user experiences, features, and services. You'll ensure solid architectural plans and obtain commitment to delivery while crafting and supervising schedules from inception to completion. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful, timely, and high-quality product development and launches.
This position requires a passionate self-starter with a track record of leading major projects of growing complexity. The right candidate will be someone who needs to understand how something works in order to effectively manage it.
Knowledge and Skills
With proven experience in software engineering and program/project management, you have led large, multi-disciplinary cross-functional projects to completion. You are skilled in planning and managing schedules, priorities, issues, dependencies, client and team communication.
You excel at being a close partner across teams and will work across engineering, quality, product management, and legal to ensure successful project development and deployment under tight schedules. You engage with all levels within the business, planning, organizing, tracking, and communicating to champion project success.
Requirements:

Technical Rigor: Maintain a deep, technical end-to-end understanding of the solution being built, its upstream and downstream dependencies and impacts, and proliferate the awareness and critical changes needed to support the initiative.

Drive Cross-Team Collaboration: Lead integration workstreams and cross-functional projects, ensuring smooth progress and proactive issue resolution.

Sophisticated Project Management: Develop and implement plans for complex, multi-location projects. Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is helpful

Be a Strategic Partner: Collaborate with executive management to align projects with Adobe’s strategic goals, addressing challenges through effective planning and communication. Assess critical paths and dependencies.

Achieve Desired Results: Deliver projects within scope, quality, time, and budget constraints, balancing trade-offs and aligning priorities. Coordinate project sequencing to ensure progress.

Orchestrate Clear Communication: Organize and synthesize project information. Build and implement communication plans to upper management with partner team input.

Roadmap and Risk Management: Guide product roadmap, track dependencies, address risks, and implement contingency plans while maintaining clear communication.

Standardize Processes: Improve processes for operational efficiency and outstanding outcomes.

Act with Influence: Lead projects with team members across multiple time-zones and geographies. Encourage strong performance across managers and ICs without direct management.
Requirements

10+ years in software engineering projects and program/project management.

Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary projects across engineering organizations.

Ability to navigate fast-paced environments, communicate priorities, and drive successful completion.

Define and/or modify processes rather than applying what exists today. High tolerance for ambiguity.

Experience with development methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $143,200 -- $269,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
