Job Facts & Figures: 

Engineering

  • Deep full-lifecycle software development experience, focus on embedded systems; from initial requirements elicitation to design, coding, testing, documentation, implementation, integration and training.
  • Be able to act as a Product Owner in an agile engineering team. 
  • (Temporarily) lead an engineering team. 
  • Interact with key decision-makers in the engineering, software development, and R&D departments of existing and potentially new clients. 
  • Create the technical and project-related sections of tailored proposals to meet specific client needs. 

Business Development

  • Support the business development team in identifying and generating leads through channels like social media, events, and networking. 
  • Understand the software engineering services landscape and our competitive advantages. 
  • Support client negotiations and address objections whenever technical questions are being touched. 
  • Collaborate with business development and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility. 
  • Meet or exceed technical sales objectives, contributing to company growth. 

Qualifications: 

  • College or equivalent degree in Software/Electronical/Electrical/Medical Engineering or a related field. 
  • Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years of experience in principal engineering, focus on embedded systems, or a similar function. 
  • Knowledge of North American Medtech market (Automotive or Aerospace are a plus). 

Compensation and Benefits: 

  • Competitive base salary with commission structure and quarterly bonus. 
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, and retirement plans. 
  • Annual trips to international Critical Software offices (e.g., Lisbon/Portugal, Munich/Germany, Southampton/UK). 
  • Opportunity for career advancement within a rapidly growing company. 
  • Candidate will need his/her own transportation; mileage plus expenses for business development will be reimbursed. 
  • Visa sponsorship not available.
