Essencial Responsabilities
- Technology Strategy: Assist Consulting Engineers in defining business technology roadmaps and Multi-Generational Product Plans (MGPP).
- Design Governance: Chair design reviews for components and deliverables, while ensuring adherence to established engineering guidelines.
- Technical Solutions: Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions to drive competitive, market-winning project proposals.
- Project & Field Support: Provide critical technical direction for large-scale projects and offer expert consultation for complex field or supplier issues.
- IP & Representation: Protect company intellectual property via the Patent Evaluation Board and represent the business at industry bodies (e.g., IEC, CIGRE).
- Continuous Improvement: Document and communicate "lessons-learned" across the organization to mitigate risks and prevent repeat errors.
- Operational Execution: Actively manage product introduction, cost optimization, schedule adherence, and cross-functional problem resolution.
- Ad-hoc Advisory: Serve as a technical advisor to leadership for high-stakes tasks, such as customer negotiations and supplier audits.
- Competency Development: Establish structured training schemes and refine engineering competency frameworks for the business line.
- Talent Management: Mentor high-potential staff, support succession planning, and participate in technical recruitment and promotion interviews.
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
- Experience in an Engineering capacity
- Fluent in Portugues and English
