In this role, you will:

  • Technical leader for the Maestro and WAPITI platform with accountability for technical design of multiple systems end to end. Internally recognized by peers, business, and others as a talent with extensive breadth and depth, seen as expert in the techno-functional, understanding software functionality, technical stack and integration

  • Technical Expert driving our first of a kind Robotics platform, which has strategic impact to our business and is foundational to our robotics investment of $50 Million

  • Drives long term capability development and champions the integrations of the WAPITI platform with different systems in supply chain ensuring modularity when integrating with external systems

  • Drive technology decisions at scale for Kimberly Clark

  • Proactive analysis of business processes and identification of innovative ways to address near term business needs which includes identifying these opportunities, reviewing, and obtaining a disposition decision from the appropriate business client, assessing the fit of these opportunities into current initiatives, or including the opportunity in future demand.

  • Works directly with Business resources and Business Analysts to drive technical solutions for business requirements.

  • Leads and drives multiple streams within IT and the business teams in coming to a common understanding of processes and technology solutions to support them.

  • Maintains in-depth understanding of technical landscape for their capability area.

  • Influences policy formation contributes to User Groups; significant contribution to strategic direction.

  • Leads Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives; consults and shares knowledge across org with full awareness of industry trends.

  • Is a subject matter expert where various team members consult him/her on integration methodology, design standards, coding standards, test methodology, production setup and high performance system design

  • Provides clear and effective guidance for technical approaches to accomplish certification of Greenpoint designs by employing methodologies that bring the greatest overall value to the company.

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with essential internal and external technical experts to ensure technical expertise is available and program requirements are being achieved.

  • Provides technical leadership to multiple engineering teams ( WAPITI, Maestro , External robotics vendors ) and mentoring of engineering staff to ensure efficient accomplishment of goals and objectives Serves as a mentor and fosters internal growth as it relates to engineering capabilities within the organization.

  • Be a key player to grow talent across KC as we ramp up on “build” platforms

  • Provides input and guidance during all phases of programs to solve challenging technical issues.

  • Provides technical review and approval of engineering designs, especially those that are of high risk or new technology.

  • Presents technical concepts, engineering, and certification basis for designs to Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) and regulatory agencies.

  • Partners with vendors and suppliers to ensure that engineering methods, approaches, and products meet Company engineering requirements.

  • Evaluate suppliers for technology and engineering capabilities and methods.

  • Advances technical design concepts for the engineering department taking into account cost competitiveness, market differentiators, new technology advancements, and risk.

  • Partners with management to assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and employee performance evaluations as required.

In one of our technical roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree; 8+ years of Professional experience of Information Technology experience including working directly with business clients.

  • Experience in designing large scale enterprise applications on cloud.

  • Knowledge or experience in robotics integration is preferred.

  • Good understanding of developing reusable interfaces.

  • Good knowledge on Event Driven Architecture is must.

  • Held prior accountabilities that required influencing leaders outside of administrative authority.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing people in offsite and remote locations.

  • Strong leadership and service delivery skills

  • Cultivates networking opportunities with peer organizations.

  • Broad range of business and IT experiences; Has achieved technical and/or business certification(s).

  • Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.

  • Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
