We are seeking a highly technical leader to define and drive the architecture and roadmap of our IC portfolio. This role is ideal for a principal level engineer who thrives at the intersection of customer systems, silicon design, and test, and who can translate complex technical challenges into differentiated semiconductor solutions.
This individual will work closely with customers to understand real world system challenges and convert those insights into innovative product concepts. The role requires strong technical depth, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to communicate clearly with both engineers and customer stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive product architecture and technical roadmap for Elevate’s semiconductor portfolio
- Engage directly with customers to understand system level challenges and translate them into IC requirements
- Serve as a senior technical interface to customers, leading deep technical discussions and building strong relationships
- Partner closely with Design, Test, and Applications teams to ensure alignment between product definition and execution
- Influence key design and test tradeoffs through strong technical judgment and system level thinking
- Identify new product opportunities based on customer needs, industry trends, and technical differentiation
- Represent Elevate in technical discussions at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering; PhD preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in semiconductor IC design and applications
- Experience bringing complex semiconductor products from concept through production, with strong ownership of product definition and customer requirements
- Background in analog or mixed signal ICs with the understanding of circuit level behavior, including precision signal chains, data converters, or high-performance analog blocks
- Demonstrated history of engaging directly with customers on complex technical challenges, diagnosing issues, and influence product direction
- Complete understanding of the semiconductor development flow, including design, fabrication, assembly, and test
- Experience making architectural tradeoffs across performance power, area, cost, and testability
- Clear and effective communicator who can explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and customers.

The salary range for this role is $161,000.00-$218,000.00. Starting salary will be aligned with your relevant experience and demonstrated capabilities during the interview process. Typically, candidates begin at the initial tier of our compensation range, with placement adjusted for candidates presenting extensive directly applicable experience.
