Position Summary

We are looking for a Principle Software Engineer to join Bot defensive platform team. You will work with a team of experts in Liunx application design and development.

As a Principle Software Engineer, you will implement stable and high performance applications and configuration system on Linux. You will vet various open source and close source technologies, components, libraries, tools, etc. and help build a highly available, and easily manageable system.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive applications using Golang, Python and Shell script running on Linux.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified through testing and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Implement and support pipelines to do continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) to ensure code quality and deployment reliability.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end feature development, taking ownership and accountability.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Extensive hand on experience working with Linux and/or other unix variants.
• Familiar with Linux booting flow, system administration, network configuration
• Proficiency in shell script, Golang and Python
• Experience with container and orchestration technologies and runtimes - Docker, k8s
• Experience with modern CI/CD framework/tools - Github, Gitlab etc.
• Experience with system integration, performance in hybrid and cloud environments
• Strong trouble-shooting skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or above) in Computer Science/related fields or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in Linux application development with required skills.
