 Overview:

In this role, the individual is responsible to manage moderately sized project or process. The individual shall have Subject Matter level knowledge in the Power Electronics discipline. The problem faced will be difficult and often complex. Responsible for coaching, mentoring and reviewing works of lower level professionals. Shall contribute to development of goals of the Power Electronics discipline and planning efforts such as budgets, operational plans etc.

Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of work area. The individual shall be responsible for communicating within & outside of the discipline at times with parties outside of organization.

Technical Skills

• Masters in Power Electronics or Related Subject is preferred
• Shall be a seasoned professional who can coordinate and facilitates the design, fabrication, modification and evaluation of power electronic circuits, power supply modules and/or components and ensure the work is done on time and established quality and budget is achieved.
• Experience in Aerospace Products, DO-160 requirements & DO-254  Process are added advantages
• Very good experience on the hardware design and development lifecycle process
• In depth knowledge in power electronics, magnetics design and power supply design
• Ability to understand & derive requirements of power electronic circuits, power supply modules and/or components.
• Experience in Electrical CAD tools (Pspice, Allegro, LTspice, Mathcad, Matlab-Simulink)
• Ability to define the electrical specification of components to meet the design requirements
• Experience in schematic diagram preparation
• Experience in electrical circuit analyses such as stress & de-rating, tolerance/performance, power & current, Logic compatibility (Signal to Noise), Stability & Signal Integrity analysis
• Very good understanding of the PCB layout & fabrication process
• Very good understanding about the Through Hole and SMD board assembly process
• Hands on experience in board bring up
• Experience in module/sub-system/system level test plan & test procedure preparation, execution & test report preparation
• Very good knowledge of EMI/EMC design & testing
• Hands on experience in DOORS is preferred
• Very good technical documentation skill & attitude is highly demanded
• Experience in preparing estimates and schedules
• Experience in foreseeing the risks and implementing the mitigation plans

Basic Qualifications:

• 12-15 years of relevant experience in electronics product development
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics/ECE or Instrumentation
