A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Principal Engineer, Enterprise DevSecOps reporting to General Manager, Enterprise DevSecOps.
A bit about your role
The Principal Engineer, Enterprise DevSecOps is a senior technical leader responsible for shaping, governing and evolving critical Finance, Procurement and Supply platforms, with extended oversight across integration and cloud applications. The role provides deep technical stewardship of Oracle E‑Business Suite while leading technical readiness for the transition to Oracle Fusion. It governs engineering standards, integration patterns (particularly via Boomi), and AWS‑hosted application architectures to ensure secure, resilient and observable platforms.
The position drives DevSecOps, automation and pragmatic AI adoption to improve operational efficiency and platform reliability. Operating without direct people management, the role leads through technical authority—resolving complex cross‑domain issues, reducing technical debt, guiding solution design and advising senior stakeholders to support strategic, risk‑aware decision‑making across ERP, integration and cloud environments.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Oracle E‑Business Suite, strong familiarity with Oracle Fusion, and experience supporting enterprise‑scale ERP platforms, including contributing to EBS‑to‑Fusion transition activities. They bring hands‑on Boomi integration experience, strong capability across API‑led and event‑driven patterns, AWS‑hosted architectures, DevSecOps, CI/CD, automation, IaC, observability and AI‑enabled operational insights.
They demonstrate strong technical leadership—guiding engineers, influencing architecture, resolving complex cross‑platform issues, managing risk and reducing technical debt—while communicating effectively with senior stakeholders and vendors. They lead through technical authority rather than people management, balancing short‑term operational needs with long‑term platform strategy. Oracle and Boomi certifications, along with experience leading engineering teams, are highly regarded.
